If you think cities sleep at night, you clearly haven’t been to Manchester after dark. When the sun goes down, the streets don’t quiet down they wake up. And nowhere is that more obvious than during a wild girls’ night out in the middle of the city.
The “Just One Drink” Plan
It usually starts simple. “Just one drink,” someone says. Everyone nods confidently, fully believing that the night will end early and responsibly.
Two hours later, the plan has completely collapsed.
The City Comes Alive

One friend is dramatically explaining a story nobody fully understands anymore. Another is trying to balance while fixing her hair. Someone else is loudly declaring that this is officially “the best night ever.”
